努洛

Nulo cat food at Ashario Pets is centred on the Freestyle canned range, with six wet recipes built around named protein pairings such as chicken and duck, turkey and duck, beef and trout, and salmon and mackerel. The collection also includes one Nulo Freestyle gently cooked wet dog food pouch in beef and sweet potato. Seven products in total, priced from $2.38 to $9.50 CAD per unit.

Which Nulo wet cat food should you choose?

Start with texture, since that is what most cats react to first. The shredded recipes give visible strands in liquid, the minced recipes offer smaller uniform pieces, and cats that lick gravy but leave chunks behind usually do better with minced.

• Poultry-forward eaters: Nulo Freestyle Shredded Chicken & Duck is the best-seller here and a safe first can for a cat already used to chicken.
• Rotating away from chicken: Minced Turkey & Duck keeps poultry on the menu while changing the primary protein.
• Red meat and fish: Shredded Beef & Trout pairs beef with a fish second protein, and Minced Beef & Mackerel covers the same territory in a finer texture.
• Fish-first cats: Salmon & Mackerel, or Turkey & Chicken if you want a straightforward two-poultry option.

Buying a single can or a case?

Single cans are the sensible way to test a texture and flavour before committing. Once you know what your cat finishes, buying multiple flavours in rotation helps keep a fussy eater interested and spreads protein sources across the week.

Is Nulo dog food available in Canada?

In this collection, the Nulo dog option is the Freestyle Gently Cooked Beef & Sweet Potato wet food pouch. Pouches suit small dogs fed wet food as a main meal, and they also work as a topper stirred into kibble for dogs that need encouragement to finish a bowl.

Switching your pet onto Nulo

Change food gradually over seven to ten days, mixing a small amount of the new recipe into the current one and increasing it each day. Wet food adds moisture to the diet, which is worth noting for cats that drink very little water. If your pet has a diagnosed health condition or known food sensitivities, confirm the recipe with your veterinarian first.

Every Nulo product here ships Canada-wide, with same-day pickup available at our North York store.
