Company of Animals - Baskerville Ultra Dog Muzzle

TL;DR: The Company of Animals Baskerville Ultra Dog Muzzle is a flexible, basket-style muzzle that lets a dog pant, drink, and take treats while preventing biting. It's a handling and training tool for adult dogs during vet visits, grooming, or behaviour work, available in six sizes from toy breeds to large breeds.

The Baskerville Ultra is made from thermoplastic rubber and shaped like an open basket, so your dog has room to open their mouth rather than being held shut. It's a standard piece of kit for trainers, groomers, and veterinary handlers who need a humane, secure muzzle for short, supervised situations.

Available in Size 1 through Size 6, the baskerville ultra dog muzzle covers toy breeds up to large breeds with an adjustable strap system at the neck and head.

Specifications

Which size should I choose?

Measure your dog's snout length and snout circumference before ordering, then match both measurements to the size chart rather than guessing by breed. Size 1 is intended for toy breeds, with Size 6 at the large-breed end of the range.

Who is it for?

This muzzle suits adult dogs that need supervised muzzle use during grooming, veterinary handling, training around triggers, or structured introductions to other dogs. It's a sensible choice for owners working alongside a behaviourist, or anyone preparing for an appointment they know their dog finds stressful.

Feeding & use

Introduce the muzzle gradually by passing treats through the front of the basket so your dog builds a positive association before the straps are ever fastened. Adjust the neck and head straps so the fit is snug but not tight — you should be able to slip a finger underneath comfortably.

Use the dog muzzle Baskerville Ultra only for supervised, short sessions such as grooming, vet visits, or controlled training. Remove it for long rest periods, exercise in heat, and any time your dog is unsupervised.

Many owners keep the Company of Animals Baskerville Ultra Dog Muzzle with a sturdy lead and a treat pouch so desensitization work can happen in short, calm sessions at home rather than only at the clinic.
