Canadian Naturals - Limited Ingredient Diet Salmon & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food

TL;DR: Canadian Naturals Limited Ingredient Diet Salmon & Sweet Potato is a grain-free dry dog food built around salmon as the featured animal protein, with sweet potato as the primary carbohydrate. It's formulated for adult dogs and suits owners who want a short ingredient list with a focus on skin and coat support. Available in 5 lb and 25 lb bags.

This recipe keeps the ingredient list short by centring on a single featured animal protein, with sweet potato standing in for grains as the carbohydrate source. It is made in Canada and formulated for adult dogs.

What makes this a limited ingredient diet?

A limited ingredient formula uses fewer components than a standard recipe, pairing one featured animal protein with a small set of carbohydrate and support ingredients. Here, that's salmon and sweet potato in a grain-free base.

Owners often choose this approach when they want to keep track of exactly what their dog is eating, or when grains are being kept out of the bowl. This Canadian Naturals dog food is a transparent option for that purpose.
