Leonardo - Herring + Extra Fillet Canned Cat Food

TL;DR: Leonardo Herring + Extra Fillet Canned Cat Food is a wet cat food made with herring plus an added fillet portion, formulated for cats who prefer fish-based recipes. It suits cat owners looking for a moisture-rich canned meal to serve on its own or alongside dry kibble.

Wet food contributes meaningful daily moisture, which matters for cats that drink sparingly from a bowl. This recipe pairs herring as the named protein source with an extra fillet piece for texture variety.

Among the cat wet food brands we carry at Ashario Pets, Leonardo is a recurring pick for fish-forward feeders — cats who turn up their nose at poultry recipes often take to herring readily.

Key features

• Herring as the named protein source
• Extra fillet included for textural contrast within the can
• Canned wet format, naturally high in moisture
• Fish-based recipe for cats with a preference for seafood flavours
• Can be served as a complete meal or as a topper over dry food

Specifications

Who is it for?

This is for cat owners who want a fish-based canned option in the rotation, particularly cats that respond better to seafood than to poultry or red meat.

It also suits households transitioning a cat toward more wet food, since the aroma of herring tends to be persuasive with hesitant eaters. If you are comparing canned wet food kitten options or feeding a cat with specific dietary guidance, confirm life-stage suitability with your veterinarian before switching.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guidance printed on the can, adjusting portions to your cat's weight, age, and activity level. Serve at room temperature — chilled food straight from the fridge mutes the aroma that draws cats in.

Introduce any new food gradually over roughly a week, mixing increasing amounts into the current food. Refrigerate unused portions in a covered container and discard leftovers that have been out for more than an hour.
