Rogz

Looking for Rogz in Canada? Ashario Pets carries a focused selection of the South African pet gear brand, including the AlleyCat safety-release cat collar and the RogLite safety light tag for dogs, priced between $8.15 and $8.95 CAD. Both are small, visible, everyday-wear items built around the same idea: your pet should be easy to see and easy to free.

Which Rogz cat collar should I choose?

For cats, the deciding factor is the buckle. The Rogz AlleyCat safety release cat collar uses a breakaway closure, which is the standard recommendation for cats who go outdoors or who climb, jump and squeeze through tight spaces indoors. A collar that releases under pressure reduces the risk of a cat being held fast by a branch, fence or furniture leg.

Before you order, measure your cat's neck with a soft tape and allow room for two fingers underneath. Kittens and lean adults usually need the collar snugged down more than you expect; a collar that slips over the chin is more of a hazard than no collar at all.

Rogz dog collars and visibility gear

If you walk your dog before sunrise or after dusk, visibility matters as much as fit. The Rogz RogLite safety light tag for dogs clips onto a collar or harness you already own, so you do not need to replace your dog's existing gear to be seen by drivers and cyclists. It suits owners who have already settled on a collar they like and only want to add a light source for winter evenings in the city.

How to pick between the two

• Cat, indoor-outdoor or an escape artist: start with the AlleyCat safety release collar.
• Dog, early or late walks: add the RogLite tag to the collar or harness in rotation.
• Multi-pet household: both items are under $9 CAD, so outfitting several pets stays straightforward.
• Replacement cycle: check breakaway buckles and clips every few months for wear, and replace anything that no longer releases or latches cleanly.

Rogz gear is designed to be worn daily, so pick the colour and size you will actually keep on your pet rather than saving it for occasional use. Order online and we ship Canada-wide, or choose same-day pickup at our North York store if you would rather check the buckle and fit in person before it goes on your cat or dog.
