Dog Supplies

Ashario Pets stocks 44 dog supplies covering the four jobs that come up every single day: feeding, play, cleanup, and grooming. Most items here fall between $5.69 and $19.99 CAD, so it is a practical place to restock the basics rather than hunt them down one store at a time.

What dog supplies do you actually need first?

Start with feeding and cleanup, then add play and grooming. A non-tip bowl such as the Scruffs Scandi (grey or cream) suits dogs that push their dish across the floor, and keeps water where it belongs for enthusiastic drinkers.

For cleanup, Beco Unscented Poop Bags With Handles are the simpler choice for walks because the handles tie off without fuss. Indoors, Skout's Honour Urine & Odour Destroyer handles accidents on floors and fabric, which is worth keeping on hand with puppies or seniors.

Choosing toys: fetch, solo play, or distance

• Chuckit! Ultra Ball (Medium) — a high-bounce ball for dogs that want a straightforward game of fetch in the yard or park.
• Chuckit! Launcher Jr — pairs with the ball to throw further with less arm strain, useful for high-energy dogs and open spaces.

If your dog tires quickly or has a short attention span, one ball is usually enough. If you are managing a dog that needs long daily output, the launcher is the piece that makes the routine sustainable.

Grooming, odour and feeding extras

Keep Beco Bamboo Unscented Dog Wipes near the door for muddy paws between baths. For the less predictable messes, the Purodora Skunk Odour Neutralizer Duo is the one to have before you need it, particularly for off-leash dogs in ravine areas.

On the feeding side, Raw Performance Herring Oil is a common topper for dogs already on a raw or kibble diet and supports skin and coat condition. The Lixit Hand Feeding Syringe is a 10 mL tool for orphaned puppies, small pets, or any dog that needs liquids delivered by hand — talk to your veterinarian about how to use it for your situation.
