Who is it for?
This dofu cat litter suits owners who want a plant-based, low-dust option instead of clay or silica. It's a good fit for cats with sensitive paws and for multi-cat homes that need reliable odour control between full changes.
It also works well if tracking is a concern, since the granules are shaped to stay in the box rather than scatter across the floor.
How is tofu litter different from clay?
Tofu litter is made from plant fibres rather than mined clay, so it tends to be lighter, lower in dust, and softer underfoot. It still clumps quickly, which keeps daily scooping straightforward.
The 6 kg bag is also easier to carry and store than an equivalent volume of clay litter.
Feeding & use
Pour 5–7 cm of litter into a clean litter box. Scoop clumps and solids daily, and top up as needed to maintain that depth.
Fully replace the litter and wash the box on a regular schedule to keep odours under control. If you're switching from clay, mix the two for a few days so your cat adjusts to the new texture.
