Who is it for?
This Canadian Naturals limited ingredient dog food is formulated for adult dogs, especially those who do better on a shorter ingredient list or who have reacted to more familiar proteins like chicken or beef.
It suits dogs of many breeds and sizes who show signs of digestive sensitivity, and owners who prefer a transparent, single-protein recipe. It is not formulated for puppies or as an all-life-stages food.
Is lamb a good choice for sensitive dogs?
Lamb is frequently used in limited ingredient diets because many dogs have had less prior exposure to it than to chicken or beef, which makes it useful for protein rotation. Paired with brown rice, this canadian naturals lamb and rice dog food keeps the carbohydrate profile simple.
