Smart Pet Love - Double Door Dog Crate

TL;DR: The Smart Pet Love – Double Door Dog Crate is a fold-flat wire crate with two access doors, built for puppies, toy breeds, and dogs up to large sizes. It comes in six sizes (XS through XXL) and includes a removable, leak-proof plastic tray for quick cleanup. Suited to crate training at home and to travel, since the frame folds flat without tools.

A crate does two jobs: it gives a dog a predictable den at home, and a contained space in the car or at a destination. This one keeps the essentials simple — secure containment, two-door access, and flat storage between trips.

Key features

• Double-door configuration (front and side) for flexible placement and access
• Metal frame with rounded corners for safer handling during setup and folding
• Removable, leak-proof plastic tray that slides out for cleaning
• Fold-flat design that stores and transports without tools
• Six sizes — XS, Small, Medium, Large, XL, and XXL — so the crate matches the dog, not the other way around

Who is it for?

This crate fits puppies and toy breeds that need a compact, enclosed space, and scales up through XXL for larger dogs. It's a practical choice for owners starting crate training, managing a recovering or over-stimulated dog, or needing a familiar den that packs down between trips.

How do you pick the right size?

Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail, then from the floor to the top of the head while standing. Add a few inches to each figure so your dog can stand, turn around, and lie down fully stretched. Among smart dog crates, sizing errors are the most common reason a crate gets rejected — it's worth measuring twice.

Feeding & use

Set the crate in a quiet corner with the tray in place and a soft mat or blanket inside. Use whichever door suits your room layout; the second door earns its keep in tight hallways, against furniture, or across a car's back seat.

Is it good for travel?

The fold-flat frame and slide-out tray make this crate easier to load into a vehicle than rigid alternatives. Confirm carrier, airline, and border requirements before travelling, as crate specifications and documentation rules vary by operator.

How do you clean it?

Slide out the plastic tray and wipe it with mild soap and warm water. Let both the tray and frame dry completely before folding the crate flat for storage, which helps prevent rust at the joints.
