Sustainably Yours - Mixed-Grain Formula For Balanced Performance

TL;DR: Sustainably Yours Mixed-Grain Formula is a plant-based cat litter made from corn and cassava, combining small and large grains for balanced clumping and reduced tracking. It suits cat owners who want a hypoallergenic, low-dust, biodegradable alternative to clay litter, and comes in 13 lb and 26 lb bags.

The mixed-grain blend pairs fine particles that clump quickly with larger granules that help keep litter in the box instead of across the floor. Odour control comes from the natural properties of corn and cassava — no added chemicals or fragrances.

Looking at cat litter Sustainably Yours options and unsure where to start? The mixed-grain formula is the middle ground between the brand's small-grain and large-grain versions, so you don't have to commit to one texture preference.

Who is it for?

This Sustainably Yours cassava cat litter is for cat owners moving away from clay who still want reliable clumping, particularly in homes where cats or people are sensitive to dust and fragrance.

It works in standard, covered, and top-entry boxes, making it a practical everyday choice for single- and multi-cat households across the GTA.

Which size should you choose?

Choose the 13 lb bag for a single-cat home or to trial the texture, and the 26 lb bag for multi-cat homes or longer stretches between top-ups. The formula is identical in both sizes.

Feeding & use

Pour 2–3 inches of litter into a clean box. Scoop clumps daily and top up as needed; refresh the full box when the remaining litter stops clumping cleanly.

Small amounts of soiled clumps can be flushed where local plumbing allows, or composted or discarded with household waste. When switching from clay, mix the Sustainably Yours cat litter mixed grain formula with your current litter and increase the ratio gradually over 5–7 days so your cat adjusts to the new texture.
